Description
In the rush of daily life, we often move from task to task without fully recognizing the moment we’re in. This half-day workshop invites participants to develop the practice of paying attention—learning to identify distractions, recognize what the present moment requires, and make intentional choices about when to act and when to pause.
Through guided reflection, mindful action, and contemplative exercises, we will explore:
Grounding techniques to cultivate presence
The balance between doing and being—when to rest and when to work
Identifying internal and external distractions
Practical ways to integrate awareness into action using a "Hillel mindset"—asking, If not now, when?
This interactive session will provide a framework for weaving mindfulness into daily life, helping participants move with clarity, purpose, and alignment.
Intention of the Hive
When you join a Hive experience, you're invited into our intention to create a group experience that's inclusive, rooted in mindfulness, and dynamically relational. We aspire for each Hive experience to model these intentions, and even to refine them as we continue to learn how to gather in a way that's transformative! The embodiment of these intentions by Hive facilitators, Members, and class participants is what makes the Hive the unique and healing social container that many experience it to be.
