In a time when negativity dominates the headlines—when disconnection, division, and fear feel unsurmountable—it can be hard to believe that a different way of living is possible. We see isolation growing and communities and institutions unraveling. But we know that a new way forward is not only possible. It’s happening here at The Hive.
We believe in this dream because…
We’ve already seen belonging come to life in our community. Just this year, participants of our classes shared how they felt truly seen and accepted for the first time in a long time. They found a space where they could show up exactly as they are—an experience too rare in today’s world.
Creativity awakens every day at The Hive. Our art classes like SoulCollage allowed people to discover ways to express themselves and reconnect with their creative spirit, something they hadn’t felt in years.
We’ve witnessed people moving toward justice. In Courage to Connect and Election Brave Space, participants have come together to confront collective trauma and actively engage in practices of abolitionism, becoming change-makers in their communities.
