Description
Being Human Takes Practice is a 5-week mindfulness meditation series for all humans. Whether you are a restless skeptic, curious explorer of consciousness, or somewhere in between, you belong here. All are welcome on this adventure as we try on practices, draw on inspiration from ancient wisdom as well as modern hilarity, and share our wild findings with each other in a laid-back, caring environment. This curious exploration into the foundations of mindfulness meditation is great for beginners and also well suited for experienced meditators looking to refresh their practice in a compassionate community.
Participants can expect:
Accessible, guided meditations for beginners and experienced meditators alike
The Being Human Takes Practice Field Guide as a tool to be used throughout the series
A supportive group environment that makes mindfulness not only meaningful, but also enjoyable!
Together, we will create a space to learn and explore practices that bring clarity & care, discuss challenges, and connect around the beautiful and messy experiences that make us human. May this space nourish you to become your own teacher and create a sustainable practice that fits your unique life.
Intention of the Hive
When you join a Hive experience, you're invited into our intention to create a group experience that's inclusive, rooted in mindfulness, and dynamically relational. We aspire for each Hive experience to model these intentions, and even to refine them as we continue to learn how to gather in a way that's transformative! The embodiment of these intentions by Hive facilitators, Members, and class participants is what makes the Hive the unique and healing social container that many experience it to be.
