In this first episode, we would like to give you, our audience, a look behind the scenes at the why and how of starting a practice. We have a range of practitioners, from beginners to folks who have been practicing for thousands of hours, discussing starting and maintaining a practice. Here are their brief bios:
Ryan Eten is a producer at Bespoken Live (bespokenlive.org), a non-profit that believes crafted storytelling is the key to understanding. Ryan lives with his wife Rachel and their two cats in Northern Kentucky.
Alex Ryberg is a millennial healer, a yogini, a monk in drag, a community organizer, an artist, a traveler, and a devotee to sustainable, mindful living. Alex has studied various systems of yoga, yoga therapy and natural healing; she currently provides private SomaVeda™ Thai Yoga Therapy sessions in Cincinnati while also teaching and organizing events at The Hive. Dominique Brown strives to be a values centered servant leader who fosters individual strengths and community assets. Her experience brings over seven years of student and community development in the field of higher education.
D.J. Trischler lives in Cincinnati with his wife and adventure partner, Megan. When not designing, he like's to walk in the woods, attempt yoga, read memoirs, and eat gelato. He also made the artwork for the podcast. Check out his website at djtrischler.com.
